From Classrooms to Pixels
As a designer and educator with over eight years of experience in fostering positive learning environments, I've always been passionate about creating experiences that engage, inspire, and transform. My journey from the classroom to the world of UX design is a natural evolution of my desire to make a broader impact on how people learn and interact with technology.
Before embarking on my UX journey, I wore many hats - from founding kindergarten teacher to instructional coach, always driven by a commitment to empathy, innovation, and results. My background in education honed my skills in curriculum design, content development, and understanding user needs - all of which translate beautifully into the world of UX.
My passion for education and technology led me to UX design, where I could create transformative learning experiences. My background as an educator, with its focus on understanding user needs and crafting engaging content, seamlessly translated into UX methodologies. Now, I'm thrilled to apply my empathy and analytical skills to design intuitive interfaces that bridge the gap between complex educational concepts and user-friendly technology.
Looking ahead, I envision myself in a role where I can bridge the gap between education and technology. I aim to be part of an EdTech team where I can leverage my unique blend of educational expertise and UX skills to create digital learning experiences that are not just user-friendly, but truly transformative. My goal is to be the voice in the room that asks, "But how will this work for a real teacher? For a struggling student?" I want to be the UX designer who doesn't just create beautiful interfaces, but who designs solutions that make a tangible difference in how people teach and learn.
In essence, I'm evolving my mission. From shaping young minds in the classroom to shaping the future of digital education through UX design, I'm excited to bring my classroom-conscious, edu-volutionary approach to the world of EdTech.
